Located in the north of the United States, the university is situated in the south-west of the state of Montana in the small town of Bozeman. The university and state host a plethora of on and off campus recreational activities (skiing, hiking, biking, kayaking or climbing), clubs (fraternities and sororities, academic, athletic and cultural), student organisations and events to suit all interests and help you engage during your time abroad. 
The Friends program is a short program at the beginning of your time abroad that will pair you up with a current MSU student which will help you settle in, foster new friendships and have someone to ask for help whenever you may need it. 

Accommodation
At Montana State University you have the option of choosing on or off campus accommodation. It is estimated that an on campus room will cost about $4111 USD per semester and an off campus room around $700 USD per month. Cultural expenses are estimated to cost about $200USD per month.
